Hello!

Well, since we're over halfway there, I thought you might like some updates on how things are going with the soon-to-be newest addition to the Davison family. I've been feeling pretty good, aside from the occasional backaches. I've gained a total of 4 pounds so far, baby is starting to kick up a storm, and some days the critter hardly takes a break!

The following excerpts are from a couple of weekly email newsletters I subscribe to. I've included the interesting parts and left out most everything else :o)

Enjoy!

The birth of your baby is about 12-16 weeks away! (our due-date is 11/4)
This is a great time to:
  • Take a childbirth education class with your significant other to prepare for the big day. (We've signed up for the hospital classes which will be starting in September, once a week for 5 weeks).
  • Drink lots of water to reduce swelling and diminish possible stretch marks.
  • Avoid spicy foods, or your baby may react with kicks and movement. Read on to learn all about your baby's unborn senses: http://www.lifeserv.com/gotothis.asp?LinkID=1741 .

    Your Baby's Horoscope:

Scorpio (October 24 to November 23)

Scorpios are complex people with a strength of character that will be evident even when your baby is small. Scorpios tend to be emotionally intense and will need you to set the limits. They are usually highly intuitive and will know when something is bothering you just by looking at you. You, however, may not know your Scorpio child's innermost thoughts as they need privacy and can be very secretive.
